Scott Summers
Owner
Scott got his start in painting ten years ago and quickly built a reputation for quality work with his first company, Simply Painting.
He spent three years at Madison Property Management sharpening his craft on larger residential and commercial projects, then came back to running his own shop in 2023 and founded Summers Painting on a principle from his mother: prep, paint, perfect.
Today, over 500 projects and 300+ five star reviews later, Scott still runs every estimate and leads the crew from prep through the final walk.
Doug
Lead
Doug has been painting for 11 years. He first got inspired to pick up a brush as a kid watching his mom repaint the kitchen and living room every holiday, while his dad showed him what it meant to be crafty with woodwork.
His favorite part of working with Summers Painting is organizing the crew and keeping everything on schedule. Clients regularly compliment him on keeping jobsites clean and organized, knowing his products inside and out, and being easy to talk with.
Outside of work, Doug rides motorcycles, plays football, golfs, and spends time with his kids at the park. He has two cats named Buddy and Panda, and a fun fact about him: he was born on the Fourth of July.
His idea of a five star paint job is when the client is fully satisfied from top to bottom. His favorite Sherwin Williams color is Tricorn Black in Satin.
